Bangla Sahib

After the visit to the Lakshmi Narayan temple; we went to the Gurdwara (Sikh temple) Bangla Sahib which is from the 1660ies. We attended the evening prayers and the ritual of putting the guru, that is, the holy book Guru Granth, to sleep in its bedchamber in the temple.

We concluded the day with a dinner on the rooftop of the hotel. There were impressive fireworks at a distance but nobody could tell us why (later we realised that this was an auspicious period for weddings, so each evening was a feast, and we got used to fireworks).

Unfortunately we cannot at present write in Swedish nor post pictures. Hopefully this will change.
