After a short refreshing hour at our rooms we plunged into the dynamic life of Delhi.
First to Palika Bazaar and the state emporium for those who wanted to buy something, then with autoriksha to Birla Mandir: the Lakshmi Narayan temple. It was built in 1938 based on Gandhi's principle of a temple for everybody, even the harijans (low caste, Dalits). It thus fitting that Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity, is worshipped in the temple.
